The park is a bit pricey but it is worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are going into DC attend the information session provided by the park. It will make your trip into the city much easier.

Have your wallet ready when you stay here; the site fee only covers the site. We arrived 2 hours before the check in time and we had to pay an extra $25 to check in even though our site was available and the park was far from full. When we called for the reservation we were not told the check in time or that there was a charge to check in early. The sites in the front of the park are off of paved roads but the pull through sites where our site was was down an unpaved gravel road. This was not easy to maneuver with our motorhome with a tow vehicle. At each dumpster site they had two dumpsters, one was locked so the overflow from the open one was left on the ground. This place is no 'RESORT".

The roads in this place are terrible--our tow vehicle bottomed out more than once. The wild parties start on Thursday and end Saturday night. We could not sit outside because of the mosquitoes. The seasonal campers were not friendly at all. For an overnight stay it is OK but not for a longer stay.

This park is a dump. Across from our site were 10 or more junk RVs many of which had their windows smashed out and it was obvious they were not inhabited by humans. Many of the seasonal RVs were in bad disrepair. The campsite is located within 100 feet of a railroad crossing and the train goes through 6 to 10 times a day including the night. The train whistle will wake you in the night. The electrical power fluctuates, don't plug in your laptop.

This campground has long spacious sites. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only negative might be the gravel roads. We would stay at this campground again.
